An interest-driven exploration of machine learning (e.g. learning algorithms) as a material and medium; as an intentionally creative medium. Co-creating tattoo flash with learning algorithms.

On embracing the constraints of the algorithmic medium
Using these new materials to augment our artistic abilities.
What was once limited by the abstraction of a meme [as genetic idea] can now be codified into the algorithmic material of a work that demands to exist under simple artistic pretenses and to propagate that demand to exist for the sake of art.
Drawn to recursive things, that durably repeat with little or no external effort. Initially limiting ourselves to what could be near-fully automated. Now embracing the results of emergence and human intervention.
Avoiding over-indexing on scaling without shying away from scale to inhabit the process of making with learning algorithms, as a creative endeavor.
Accepting the output (artifacts) borne of today’s learning algorithms and AI-Art tooling.
Clustering aesthetic discovery without constraint on exploration.

A virtual studio comprised of Resident and eventually Guest t’tt’’ Artists.
An analog to physical-world (IRL) tattoo studios and human tattoo artists, accepting how difficult it is for humans to internalize network effects and to think exponentially.

The evolving social profile of our initial Resident t’tt’’ artist, Brian (Brain) Burger, is our door to invite people through to share in our explorations.
As Brian’s aesthetic emerges and evolves new doors will open that lead to additional t’tt’’ artist personalities with aesthetics similar to or wholly unique from Brian’s.
When a significantly new aesthetic emerges and collaborations arise with human tattoo artists, that’ll result in new t’tt’’ artist profiles.
